Why take this course

Allows you to apply the BWRT concept to physical strength and fitness.

What You Will Learn

Neurophysical Enhancement Training is, like most of the BWRT® processes and protocols, radically different when it comes to providing a solution to an issue. There’s nothing at all like it in the field of body fitness, strength, health and longevity. Whether your client is a confirmed ‘couch potato’ who just wants to stay as healthy as possible, somebody who wants to get the best out of an occasional jog round the park, or an avid athlete who wants to achieve their best time in a marathon, this programme helps you help them.

As the name suggests, the programme uses psychology to focus as many neurons in the brain and body as possible to enhance physical performance and endurance. In other words, you can help your client to find better psychological and physical health.

Another Benefit

Much research has shown that the fitter you are, both physically and psychologically, the longer and more comfortably you are likely to live. This is partly due to the fact that with the optimal combination of good physical health and psychological wellness, the human body tends to maintain exactly the right levels of cortisol in the system. Too much puts a huge strain on the immune system, while too little can leave an individual feeling listless and unwell, and allow inflammation to increase throughout the body.

It’s all to do with Telomerase, a hormone that repairs the Telomeres, the ‘end caps’ on DNA strands in our cells. The Telomeres shorten with every cell division and Telomerase is the repair solution… but stress destroys Telomerase, which is why people who have stress for years often look older than they are, and actually are often biologically older. (Have you noticed how quickly politicians often seem to age?) So anything that looks after the body’s levels of Telomerase has to be a good thing, and that’s what the BWRT® Neurophysical Enhancement Training – NET for short – is all about.

How does it work?

The programme provides the tools you need to:

  • Assess the client’s suitability for the programme and what to do if they’re not.
  • Demonstrate the amazing effectiveness of the BWRT® concept applied to physical strength and fitness.
  • Teach the ten-minute Mental Workout to enhance physical exercise and/or maintain fitness levels
  • Discover when there’s a need for other BWRT® methodologies to be applied (there often is.)
  • Encourage regular attendance to maintain peak health and fitness – build a specific ‘fitness client’ base.
  • Work effectively with the one who has never exercised before but wants to start.
  • Work with the one who has no intention of regular exercising but wants to stay as healthy as possible.

What’s psychology got to do with it?

If you’re now wondering what on earth psychology  has to do with all this, the following is an excerpt from an article in the New Scientist magazine in the April 22, 2020 issue:

“A remarkable study by Brian Clark at Ohio University showed that you can build muscle just by using your imagination. His team used a surgical cast to immobilise the hand and wrist of 29 volunteers for four weeks. For 10 minutes a day, half the group sat still while imagining performing exercises with their immobilised hand. When the casts were removed, both groups had lost muscle strength in their wrists, but the group who had performed imaginary exercises lost 50 per cent less than the control group. The results suggest that mental workouts strengthen pathways in the brain that control muscle movements, which later translates into greater command over the target muscles, increasing their strength.”

The Mental Workout you will teach your client is far more powerful than the simple imagination exercise those participants in the experiment were using – and they will be able to actually experience the improvements the programme can make immediately you have conducted the protocol. Of course, the Mental Workout on its own is not designed to create huge improvement in fitness levels but it will keep anybody as fit as it is possible for them to be without physical exercise. Even just a moderate amount of exercise, though, will produce an instant recognition of improvement.
